Sashien Godakandae, MBA
Sashien is an entrepreneur, investor and executive with expertise in driving commercial partnerships, brand development, and strategic investments. Born and raised in Ottawa, Sashien has built his path to success through entrepreneurial vision, strategic business insight, and relentless passion for growth.
As Co-Founder and Managing Partner of ApexEnigma Capital, Sashien leads the firm's investment strategy, focusing on identifying, acquiring, and scaling high-potential businesses across technology, media, and business services. Through a disciplined, value-driven approach, ApexEnigma Capital partners with founders and management teams to accelerate growth, enhance operational performance, and build resilient, market-leading companies.

Prior to founding ApexEnigma Capital Sashien played a pivotal role in advancing industries connected to the smart homes, intelligent buildings, and the internet of things sectors. His strategic partnership initiatives influenced Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 leaders like Amazon, Google, Schneider Electric and Intel Corporation. Sashien supported SpaceX's private funding rounds ahead of its June 2026 Nasdaq IPO and was an early investor in Flow Water, one of North America's fastest-growing premium water brands, which went public on the Toronto Stock Exchange in 2021 and grew to $50M in annual revenue.
With an MBA in strategic leadership, Sashien leverages innovation and collaboration to drive ventures that deliver impact, redefine industries, and foster global growth. He has also been invited to share his expertise on international stages, including Seamless Asia in Singapore, one of the world's leading conferences for e-commerce and digital payments.

Ken Gao, MAcc, MSFE
Ken is an investor and financial professional with deep experience across risk management, compliance, and value-driven capital allocation. Combining a rigorous analytical foundation with a long-term investment mindset, he focuses on identifying transformative technology companies at the frontier of innovation—before the market fully recognizes their potential.
As Co-Founder and Managing Partner of ApexEnigma Capital, Ken shapes the firm's investment approach alongside Sashien, bringing a disciplined, research-intensive framework to sourcing and evaluating opportunities across deep technology, smart infrastructure, and high-growth sectors. The firm's strategy is built on concentration, conviction, and patient capital—investing where asymmetry is clear and holding through cycles of transformation.
Ken brings years of value investing experience across Hong Kong and U.S. equity markets, with a particular focus on the technology sector. His approach blends fundamental bottom-up analysis with a deep appreciation of macro and regulatory dynamics, enabling the firm to navigate complex markets with precision and restraint. Every investment is measured against a clear thesis, defined risks, and the potential for asymmetric returns.
Prior to co-founding ApexEnigma Capital, Ken built a distinguished career across banking and consulting—including roles at EY, Bank of China (Hong Kong), and PwC—specializing in credit risk management, internal control review, and regulatory compliance across financial institutions and non-bank financial institutions. In 2025, alongside the firm's founding, he led early investments in SpaceX, ahead of its June 2026 Nasdaq IPO, and Groq, the AI inference pioneer later acquired by NVIDIA—delivering exceptional returns and reinforcing the firm's conviction in frontier technology.
Ken holds a Master of Accountancy from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, a Master of Science in Financial Engineering from City University of Hong Kong, and a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from Carleton University. His multidisciplinary training across accounting, financial engineering, and capital markets underpins the disciplined, research-driven approach he brings to every investment.

Ken 拥有香港中文大学会计学硕士学位、香港城市大学金融工程理学硕士学位，以及加拿大卡尔顿大学会计商学学士学位。横跨会计、金融工程与资本市场的多元学术背景，为他严谨自律、深耕研究的投资方法论奠定了坚实基础。
